Farasis Energy's Battery Technology Strategy and Auxiliary Materials

At the Automotive Blue Book Forum, Wang Yu, Chairman of Farasis Energy, shared the company’s battery technology strategy. The company has categorized car owners into six groups and has launched three tailored battery solutions—Cost-Leading, Balanced Smart Choice, and Ultimate Experience—while outlining a five-year technology roadmap. The company has already mass-produced high-end batteries with an energy density of 285 Wh/kg, mastered the industrialization technology for 330 Wh/kg semi-solid-state batteries, and is simultaneously developing 400 Wh/kg high-density batteries. Semi-solid-state batteries will undergo three generations of iteration, with long-term plans for all-solid-state batteries. The company is developing platform-based battery cells compatible with various vehicle models, paired with an AI-powered intelligent battery management system that provides real-time alerts to ensure comprehensive battery safety.

For the insulating and cushioning auxiliary materials required in battery module production—such as barley paper, flame-retardant PC, and EVA foam—custom die-cut products from JiMi Electronics can be selected to meet the thermal insulation and electrical insulation requirements of pouch batteries. With safety as its foundation and intelligence as its backbone, Farasis continuously iterates on lightweight, long-range, fast-charging power batteries that balance vehicle cost and service life.
